Edward Vanterpool
Services will be held today for Edward Vanterpool, better known as "Pops" or "Uncle Eddy" who died on Nov. 11, 2012, at the Lucinda Millin Home for the Aged.
The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. at Church of God of Prophecy in Estate Hoffman, St. Thomas, with the service following at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery.
He was the last surviving child of William and Joanna Vanterpool.
He is survived by his caretakers his niece Zulah and Edgar Hodge; nieces, Judy Green, Stephanie Vanterpool, Shirley Lans, Rita Green, Ruby Vanterpool, Hilda Cline, Muriel Durand, Ivena Vanterpool, Mercedes Vanterpool, Lyra Alvarez, Yvonne Dawson, Nona Vanterpool, Beryl Vanterpool, Mabel Todman, and Beverly Todman; nephews, Tony, Leo, Othneil, Earl, Dean, Clyde, Irad, Noel, Leslie Hugo, Reuben, Joseph, Clarence and Keith Vanterpool, Keith Alvarez, Bradley Todman, Bishop Kenneth M. Benjamin, Sr.; a host of great nieces, great nephews, and other family members; many friends inclduing Pastor Bentley E. Thomas and wife, Albert Pogson, Miss Thomas, Verna Pemberton, Denise Dawson, Basil Hodge, Esme Frett, the staff of the Lucinda Millin Home, Continuum Care, the Anna's Retreat Senior Citizens Center and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.

Services will be held Friday for Anthony Olive who died on Nov. 15, 2012, in Atlanta.
The viewing will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Davis Funeral Home chapel wih the service following at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Chapel on St. Thomas. Interment will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.

Josephine Phylina Ismael Esprit-Webster
Services will be held today for Josephine Phylina Ismael Esprit-Webster, better known as "Espree" or "Phylina," who died Oct. 29, 2012.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. today at Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church with a service follwing at 10 a.m. She will be cremated.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Esprit and Giselle Esprit; her grandson, Levi Sobers; surviving sisters, Melina Veronica Pierre, Anestasie Ismael Destouche, and Claraline Ismael; surviving brothers, Jones Ismael, Terrilson Ismael, Foley Ismael and Isidore Ismael.
