Ernie Delphine Pennyfeather
Ernie Delphine Pennyfeather, affectionately known as Dellie, 82, passed away peacefully on Dec. 27, 2013, at her home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Memorial Moravian Church. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.
She was born in Antigua and spent all of her adult life on St. Thomas.
She worked as a seamstress at Elvahoj for many years. She began working there soon after relocating to St. Thomas.
Dellie was a member of the Memorial Moravian Church and was very involved with many groups within the church: the Senior Choir, Women's Fellowship, the Prayer Group, and Kings Daughters and Sons, to name a few.
Ernie was also a member of the Antigua-Barbuda Association.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Dellie was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Richardson and Florence Richardson; her husband, Selwyn Pennyfeather; her brothers, Charles Richardson and Keith Richardson; and her sister, Sylco Richardson.
Dellie is survived by her daughter, Ernie Pennyfeather, her son, Garfield Pennyfeather; stepdaughter, Pearline Pennyfeather; her nieces, Urica Lynch Cassel, Sharon Warner and Michelle Richardson; her nephew, Stanford Lynch Collin Richadson and Viel Richardson; her great-grandnieces, Dekhasia Lynch, Jordan Cassel, Grace Warner; her great-grandnephews, Joseph Cassel, Caleb Warner, Timothy Warner; her sisters-in-laws, Morrel Richardson and Maggie Richardson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
