Leonard Tavernier
Services will be Friday for Leonard Tavernier, better known as "Bembi," 58, who died Jan. 13, 2012, in New York.
The viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, with services at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Eastern Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Cyrilla Tavernier; son, Owen Tavernier; daughters, Odessa, Ophelia, Tanya and Stacy Tavernier; stepson, Ian Birmingham; stepdaughters, Eula Birmingham and Nicaise Bellot; brothers, Ellie, James, Baba and Boyd Tavernier; sisters, Cyrilla, Laura, Ago and Bella Tavernier; seven grandchildren; special friends, Jerry Defreitas, John Andrew, Fiber and James; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
