Special Halo goes out to the Democratic Party of the St. Thomas-St. John District and to all who came out and participated in the National Day of Service as encouraged by President Barack H. Obama: Jason Budson, Vincent Rivera, Rudy Krigger Jr. and Horace Callwood thanks for your particpation.
Special thanks and a salute to the cadets of Civil Air Patrol, St. Thomas Composit Squadron and their commander Joel Browne Conners, along with cadets Rayann Charlery, Jahmaal Richards, Naviyah Davis, Abay-omi Hodge, Ithio Williams, Jaunelle Setorie and Cadeo Masson. Together we served almost 100 plates of food to those who are less fortunate. Also, I must thank the Dept. of Human Services for allowing us to utilize one of their vans for transportation. And let us recognize Rotary Club II for allowing us the opportunity to take over their soup kitchen for a day.
