Today marks the 10th anniversary of federalized screening by TSA at the Cyril E. King International Airport. At TSA we celebrate this milestone because today we stand as part of the vanguard of an international counterterrorism network that includes law enforcement, intelligence, security agencies, industry stakeholders, passengers, and the American people.
Yet we will never forget that we exist because on Sept. 11, 2001, almost 3,000 people from all walks of life, were killed in the worst act of terrorism on American soil.
