Resolved: Say No to guns

My New Year's wish is that the American people can begin to stand up to the NRA and the weapons industry.
It isn't just kids in Connecticut and the rest of America, its kids all over the world, lots of them supplied with uniforms and guns and fighting each other - for someone else.
Can you imagine: the NRA's solution is a gun in teachers' desk drawers. The world is never going to get better if we allow gun dealers to keep selling guns to everyone that wants one.
We need to stop arguing about guns and start stopping guns from getting to crazy people. The problem is the gun industry will have to agree to make fewer guns, and they don't want to.
It is time that we tell the gun manufactures that they have to change their business model. We don't want to worry about our kids when they go to school. A gun in every teacher's desk is not the solution to this problem.
