WAPA must stop attacking critics

Font size: [A] [A] [A]

It is amazing to see how WAPA aggressively reacts to criticisms, whether it is from the public, talk show callers, the Georgetown Consulting Group or the Public Services Commission. Such aggression should be the means by which WAPA focuses instead on lessening the LEAC and the plant inefficiencies for the betterment of the local community.

The quality of life in the Virgin Islands has diminished due to escalating LEAC costs, and there appears to be no end in sight.

We are paying the LEAC three times over: on our monthly utility bills, in the grocery and at the gas pump. WAPA bills have become our main monthly expense, even more important than our rent and mortgage.
