What's wrong with V.I. lawmakers?

As everybody knows, the employees of the V.I. government had to take an 8 percent pay cut. Times are hard, so it was necessary, as long as that saved money is put to good use.

But don't tell me that by the end of the year the government will be giving a bonus to the government retirees while they are relaxing at home. I don't see why they should be getting a bonus. Give back the 8 percent instead.

I also object to the taxi drivers not having to pay the Road Tax. They contribute to destroying the roads because they are on them all day long. I spoke to a senator about it, and she told me that this is an item that needs to be worked on. I didn't see or hear anything yet. So senators, do your job if you want to be re-elected in November.
