CAHS, Kean winners in weekend varsity basketball

ST. THOMAS - Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is currently writing a blog about HBO's Girls, a show about young urban women, criticizing the show's direction and target audience. Let's just say that on Saturday, he would have been proud of how many girls were playing basketball at Ivanna Eudora Kean High School's Digna Marie Wheatley Gymnasium.
Three games were scheduled on the day and all were essentially over after the first quarter, but the opportunity for girls to play did not fall on deaf ears.
