ST. CROIX - N'Kai Dowe flashed one last smile in his blue pinstripes and pointed upward as he comfortably trotted toward home plate Saturday. The Charlotte Amalie High School senior was on his way to scoring the title-winning run in Game 2 of the IAA Territorial Baseball Championship Series at D.C. Canegata Ballpark.
CAHS junior Jed Joseph's walk-off single with the bases loaded lifted the Chickenhawks to a 6-5 win in the clincher of the best-of-three series against St. Croix Educational Complex. The hit capped back-to-back championships for CAHS.
