ST. THOMAS - Plotting an 18-mile course around Pillsbury Sound and weaving through the many outlying cays and rocky outcroppings, St. John Yacht Club race organizers created a compelling course for the two-fleet regatta Sunday that lived up to its name - the Island Hopper Regatta.

Taking the Cruising division, Captain Peter Corr, along with tactician Mike Finley, sailed the custom-built 82-foot Alyana for the win. Tommy Koyson was the helmsmen of the day in the Racing division as he brought the IC-24 Grey Goose in for a fleet-beating finish.
