David defends Women's Jogger Jam title

ST. THOMAS - Ruth Ann David continued her success in the Women's Jogger Jam as she won the event for the fourth straight year on Sunday. She finished the 31st annual running of the event with a winning time of 11 minutes and 57 seconds, which was two seconds faster than her winning time a year ago.

The 2-mile course started at The Fruit Bowl in Wheatley Center, wrapped around the Schneider Regional Medical Center and returned to Wheatley Center. The event, which is for girls and women of all ages, benefits The Family Resource Center, Inc., and was well attended by businesses, churches and individual competitors.
