LONDON - A purple plastic sleeve wrapped around his left shin and calf muscle helped U.S. Virgin Islands runner Tabarie Henry cope with an injury he had been dealing with since the 2012 Summer Olympic Games started.
The sleeve was meant to control the blood circulation near an inflamed Achilles heel on his left foot, not match his stylish purple and neon yellow racing spikes.
