Pistons rout Coasters in Senthill softball

ST. THOMAS — Ricardo Eliaza belted a two-run home run in the sixth inning to spark the Pistons’ 20-10 victory over the Coasters in a Donald O. Senthill Coed Modified Pitch Softball League game Friday.

Yensi Natera and Felix Naval each hit solo shots for the Pistons, who finished with 22 hits. Henri Vilomar was the winning pitcher and Alex Uben went 4-for-4 for the Pistons.

C.J. Stewart had three hits for the Coasters while Aron Smith, Ian Byrne and Chris Pescatore combined for six hits. The Coasters were also plagued by eight fielding errors.

Rookies 19, Vibes 4

Jakoi Percival and Kyle Lamotta each smacked two-run homers to lead the Rookies in a 19-4 win over the Vibes on Friday. Dwayne Abbott went 4-for-4 from the plate for the Rookies and Wayne Henry was the winning pitcher.

Percival and Kareem Henley combined for six hits for the Rookies. Orville Hyndman went 2-for-3 to pace the Vibes’ offense.

All Out 7, Storm 5

Khalil Henley and Jerold Gooding combined for four hits to lift All Out to a 7-5 victory over the Storm on Friday.

Jean-Pierre Oriol was the winning pitcher and Leon Martin went 2-for-4 from the plate for All Out. Causton Merchant accounted for two of the Storm’s seven hits.
