The Rovers defeated the Helenites, 3-1, on Sunday in the championship game of the USVI soccer Association's St. Croix Men's Soccer League Knockout Tournament at Paul E. Joseph Stadium.

The game needed 30 minutes of extra time before the finish saw the Rovers break a 1-1 tie. Dwayne Trimm of the Rovers scored the game's first goal in the 29th minute on penalty kick. Alberto VanGurp was fouled in the box to set up Trimm's opportunity.
