Sprauve School wins elementary boys hoops title

The Julius Sprauve Elementary Boys basketball championship team.
ST. THOMAS - The Julius Sprauve Elementary School team held Calvary Baptist to one point in the second half to claim the Glacial Energy Elementary Boys basketball championship, 29-19, on Tuesday afternoon.
Sprauve had a big man in Misael De La Cruz, who was twice the size of Calvary's tallest player. De La Cruz went to work inside, scoring his jersey number, 20 points, in the game. He outscored Calvary by himself.
