ST. THOMAS - Any home game for University of the Virgin Islands basketball teams is a big deal. As the only member school of Liga Atlética Interuniversitaria de Puerto Rico not in Puerto Rico, UVI does not enjoy home play nearly as often as the conference's other teams.
Both the men's and women's teams will play home openers tonight at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center.
